NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (AP) - The Latest on the explosions and fire at a cosmetics factory in upstate New York (all times local):

10:10 p.m.

The body of a worker has been found at a cosmetics factory north of New York City following two explosions and a fire that left more than 30 people injured, including seven firefighters.

Orange County spokesman Justin Rodriguez says the body of a male employee was recovered from the Verla International cosmetics factory in New Windsor Monday night. No other details were provided.

One employee had remained unaccounted for following the first explosion Monday morning. Police say firefighters were inside when the second blast happened.

Officials say none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

There was no immediate word on a cause.

A cosmetics factory north of New York City where two explosions and a fire injured more than 30 people was cited for nine occupational safety violations earlier this year.

According to data from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, inspectors in April cited problems with the handling of flammable and combustible liquids at the Verla International plant in New Windsor.

OSHA also cited inadequacies relating to respirator protection for workers and the maintenance of exit routes.

The company agreed to pay $41,000 in penalties.

Up to 35 people are being treated for injuries, including seven firefighters, following the two explosions. One employee remains unaccounted for.

There was no word on a cause Monday evening.

New Windsor town police say the first explosion occurred around 10:15 a.m. Monday at the Verla International cosmetics factory. Police say firefighters were inside when the second explosion occurred.

Town Supervisor George Green says up to 35 people are being treated for injuries, including seven firefighters. Two of the firefighters were taken to the burn unit at Westchester Medical Center. Officials say none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

One employee remains unaccounted for.

There was no word yet on a cause.

New Windsor is about 55 miles (88 kilometers) north of New York City.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says state emergency response teams have been sent to a Hudson Valley cosmetics factory where two explosions and a fire have injured 20 people.

The Democrat says the personnel and other resources dispatched Monday to New Windsor in Orange County include homeland security staffers, state police, and environmental conservation enforcement officers and health department technicians.

The response teams include fire protection and air pollution control specialists, 30 state troopers and fire investigators.

Police say the first explosion occurred around 10:30 a.m. Cuomo says the initial blast occurred in the factory’s warehouse.

The governor says state investigators will work with local authorities to determine the cause of the explosion.

Authorities say two explosions and a fire at a cosmetics factory in the Hudson Valley about an hour north of New York City have left 13 people injured, including five firefighters caught in the second blast.

New Windsor town Supervisor George Green tells The Associated Press that the first explosion occurred around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Verla International cosmetics factory. He says firefighters were inside when the second explosion occurred.

Green says the injured include a firefighter who was being taken to the burn unit at Westchester Medical Center.

Crews are battling the blaze early Monday afternoon. Green says fire crews from across Orange County and from neighboring counties responded, along with hazardous materials teams.

There was no word yet on a cause.

The factory is located about a half mile from the town hall and police station in New Windsor, 55 miles (88 kilometers) north of New York City.
