While he was hard at work trying to secure a World Series win Wednesday night, Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig found himself the victim of a burglary at his Encino, California, home.

CBS Los Angeles reported Thursday morning that the LAPD is investigating a break-in at the Puig residence. The thief reportedly made off with some items, the value of which was not disclosed.

A burglary at Puig’s home in Sherman Oaks in March resulted in the theft of $170,000 in jewelry, CBSLA said.

As the station reported at the time, Puig was away in spring training and the burglar hit the house when a housesitting relative was not at home.
