MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski lashed out at former President Bill Clinton on Friday as a “sexual predator” who “forever stamped” women like Monica Lewinsky.

The 42nd president of the United States may be in for some harsh criticism in the weeks ahead if “Morning Joe” regulars have their say. A panel on sexual harassment addressed accusations against Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, journalist Mark Halperin and others before acknowledging years of media “tip-toeing” around Mr. Clinton.

“There are cases that are proven, where there are settlements, where there is evidence and the sexual predator has been brought down — Harvey Weinstein,” Ms. Brzezinski said, Hot Air reported. “There are cases where the predator flourished and continued to be the President of the United States. I’m talking about Bill Clinton.”

Ms. Brzezinski said the former president should have resigned after his affair with Ms. Lewinsky, a former White House intern, became public.

“[We’re talking about where] the women were attacked, where they were settled with, and their lives were ruined — Monica Lewinsky. And forever stamped with a scarlet letter,” the pundit said.

Not specifically mentioned in the discussion was Juanita Broaddrick, 74, who has maintained for decades that Mr. Clinton raped her in 1978 while he served as Arkansas attorney general.

Ms. Brzezinski then criticized her industry peers for obfuscating sexual misconduct claims against Mr. Clinton.

“I think the days of sort of tip-toeing around the Clinton’s are over and I’m fine with it,” she said.
