ATLANTA (AP) - The FBI says a robbery crew is behind a recent series of at least nine violent armed robberies targeting Asian-owned businesses in metro Atlanta.

WXIA-TV reports FBI Special Agent in Charge David J. LeValley from the Atlanta Field Office says the robberies between Oct. 7 and Nov. 8 appear to have been committed by two to three men, who wore the same clothing in several robberies. Seven of the robberies took place at businesses offering spa and massage services. The other two robberies targeted a tanning salon and a Buford Highway restaurant.

The suspects are using a red Pontiac Grand Prix with a temporary tag. The FBI says two suspects generally enter the businesses, often initially acting as customers, while a third serves as a getaway driver.
