LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a man was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident after he stabbed another man in front of a casino.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports both men were hospitalized early Monday but are expected to survive.

Police say the men were arguing about 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Skinny Duggan’s Casino & Lounge when one suddenly stabbed the other several times with a pair of scissors.

Police Lt. David Gordon says the stabber fled and ran into the eastbound lanes of Charleston Boulevard where he was hit by a vehicle.

He says the vehicle fled the scene and police are currently searching for it.
