SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Barry Ogalue scored 20 points, Gabe Levin had 14 points and eight rebounds, and Long Beach State beat San Francisco 83-71 on Friday night.

Deishaun Booker and Jordan Griffin each added 12 points for LBSU. The 49ers were just 4 of 15 from 3-point range but made 27 of 32 free throws.

Long Beach led 37-34 at halftime with 14 points from Ogalue. The 49ers were 22 of 25 from the free-throw line in the second half.

San Francisco cut it to 71-65 on a 3-pointer from Chase Foster with 2:33 left. Booker hit two free throws and Levin added two more on their next possession for a 10-point lead.

Souley Boum paced San Francisco with 22 points in his debut. Jordan Ratinho added 18 points and Foster 14. The Dons turned it over 19 times and shot just 37 percent.
