MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) - An Atlantic County corrections officer has pleaded guilty to criminal sexual contact with a female inmate.
Under terms of a plea agreement, 48-year-old Castulo Matos of Egg Harbor City will forfeit his public employment and serve a sentence of probation. The duration is at the discretion of the court.
The inmate told prosecutors say Matos made sexual comments to her on several occasions before the 21-year veteran improperly touched her in December.
