Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley found out Sunday about the death of his grandfather before Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs.
Beverley said he woke up from a nap and heard the news. Beverley went on to play and had 10 points and six assists in the Rockets’ 125-104 win.
In his postgame press conference, Beverley honored his grandfather.
