MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A federal agency has filed a lawsuit accusing a Minot construction company of sexual harassment.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says Jennifer Gerard was subjected to a hostile work environment and intolerable work conditions while she was employed as a truck driver at Keller Paving and Landscaping, Inc. in 2013.

The complaint says Gerard was the victim of sexual harassment on the part of several male co-workers. The behavior allegedly continued after Gerard complained to company owners and the site manager. She says one of the owners suggested she quit.

The suit says Gerard felt she had no choice but to resign.

A phone message left Saturday at the Minot business was not returned.
