SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police are investigating yet another shooting - this time in the Belltown neighborhood, where a man was shot in the chest overnight.

KOMO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2q76PW9 ) that officers were called to the scene at about 1:40 a.m. Friday after receiving reports of a disturbance and gunfire.

They found a man with at least one gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. Police say his injuries are life-threatening.

The shooter apparently fled the scene. No information or description was immediately available.

The shooting comes on the heels of three other shootings in a 24-hour period.

Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole says her department is working with the FBI to get a handle on the violence.
