CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A former Wyoming teacher has pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to access with intent to view pornographic images of pre-pubescent children.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/2pegjd1 ) Friday that the plea agreement 35-year-old Matt B. Bell and his attorney reached does not suggest a sentence. Instead, the agreement proposes a count of attempting to transport child pornography be dismissed during Bell’s sentencing.

Bell had been a sixth-grade teacher at Henderson Elementary School in Cheyenne when the investigation had begun last summer.

A court complaint states that detectives searched Bell’s home in October and found 87 images of suspected child pornography on his laptop.

Bell is accused of being associated with the images from March 2012 to October 2016.

He remains released on his $10,000 unsecured bond.
