ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico, the nation’s most Hispanic state, is playing host to a number of Cinco de Mayo events.

Randy Baker, the owner of the popular Rio Bravo Brewing Co. in Albuquerque, is unveiling the brewery’s new German Imperial Kolsch beer on Friday. The brewery is calling it: Fünf de Mayo.

Las Cruces is hosting a Cinco de Mayo event on Saturday that will feature a car show and hip hop performers Mellowman and Kid Frost.

Meanwhile, state police plan a “blitz” to catch would-be drunken drivers and cities are offering free rides home from bars.
