BALTIMORE (AP) - A Baltimore law firm has filed a class-action suit seeking financial damages for the families of five people who were killed and those who were hurt in a crash between a school bus and commuter bus.
Hassan Murphy said Thursday that he is suing Concentra, which provides commercial driver certifications and cleared 67-year-old Glenn Chappell to operate the bus. Chappell was one of those killed in the November crash. Murphy said he’s also suing Chappell’s employer, AAAfordable Transportation.
The National Transportation Safety Board said last month that its investigation showed Chappell had been in at least 12 crashes in the past five years.
