EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Three New Jersey airports will receive more than $5 million in funding from the Federal Aviation Administration to enhance safety and improve customer concerns about the southern New Jersey airports.
The Press of Atlantic City reports (https://bit.ly/2rj9GZV ) Atlantic City International Airport will receive the largest share of federal funding - over $2.6 million - in order to construct fencing and study the impact of removing two runways.
Cape May County Airport and Hammonton Municipal Airport, which will also receive funding from the FAA program, will use their funds to remove obstructions from runways and taxiways.
