PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A woman charged with fatally stabbing a 15-year-old Providence boy has been held without bail on a prior charge.

The Providence Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2qy9dl9 ) the attorney general’s office says 18-year-old Natashza Charon was ordered held for 45 days Tuesday after admitting she had violated bail.

The Providence woman faces a manslaughter charge in the May 13 death of Jaheim Carter. Bail was set at $50,000 Tuesday on that charge.

Prosecutors say Charon and her boyfriend were walking on the street when a vehicle with the victim and three others stopped, and during a confrontation Charon allegedly stabbed Carter in the back with a knife.

Police have said Carter’s family and the family of Charon’s boyfriend are involved in some kind of feud.

A message was left Tuesday for Charon’s attorney.
