LYNN, Mass. (AP) - A man suspected of fatally shooting one man and injuring another as they walked home from Easter church services in Lynn has pleaded not guilty to murder.

William Cash was arraigned Wednesday in a hospital in connection with the shooting that killed 46-year-old Leonardo Clement and injured Prince Belin on April 16. A judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. Cash was ordered held without bail.

State police say the 44-year-old Cash was caught overnight in Weymouth. He had been added to the department’s most wanted list Tuesday.

Police say the victims were shot just after they had attended Easter services at Zion Baptist Church.

Belin told the Daily Item of Lynn that a man first approached his fiancee, left, then came back and opened fire.
