SAN DIEGO (AP) - San Diego police have arrested a homeless man on suspicion of killing two other homeless men who were found on the sidewalk at a strip mall.

The San Diego Union-Tribune (https://bit.ly/2qQmLuX ) says 52-year-old Ricardo Valles was arrested Monday on a street corner not far from where the men were killed.

He remains jailed without bail and it’s unclear whether he has an attorney.

Police believe Valles stabbed to death 56-year-old Curtis Murray and 61-year-old Albert Stringer.

Their bodies were found last week on either side of an ice cream shop door in Otay Mesa.

Police say all three men were known to hang out in the general area. They haven’t released a motive for the killings.
