OPINION:
I would be remiss in doing my civic duty if I kept my mouth shut when I saw a terrible injustice. The Democrats have defamed, assaulted and slandered President Trump unmercifully since he took office.
As a former law-enforcement officer, I know from experience that hearsay of a crime is far from having evidence of a crime — but that doesn’t seem to matter to the majority of television-news broadcasters. Reporting that Mr. Trump conspired with Russia without any evidence shouldn’t be tolerated. It’s not freedom of speech when people intentionally try to undermine the government and destroy a president without cause, I dare say that it is treasonous.
The far-left, diehard Clinton supporters (such as radical Rep. Maxine Waters, California Democrat, who screams “Impeachment!”) are perpetuating the lies against Mr. Trump because their candidate lost the presidency. The naysayers are nothing more than anarchists and malcontents.
When President Obama was reelected after killing democracy as we know it, where was the news media then? Why were they not attacking him with vigor, and where were the Republicans and the people of this country? Mr. Obama lied when it came to health care. He lied about the IRS, saying there wasn’t a “smidgen” of wrongdoing with regard to conservative groups. He went to the United Nations and the world and said a video caused the assault on our embassy in Benghazi. In every situation there was evidence to prove the lies told — but no one went after him.
Hillary Clinton lost the presidency because she was dishonest like her boss Mr. Obama. Mr. Trump, on the other hand, has yet to be charged with any crime. Where is the evidence for the calls to have him impeached?
