KINGSLAND, Ga. (AP) - A small company plans to open a factory on the Georgia coast that will produce egg rolls.

The Brunswick News reports (https://bit.ly/2rwQNBg) a company called Foodie’J is setting up shop in Kingsland, located in Georgia’s southeast corner near the Florida state line. The company sells its egg rolls to restaurants throughout the Southeast.

The owners say they chose the site in Camden County in part because the cost of living is low and it’s close to Interstate 95.

The company plans to start with just 15 employees at the Georgia plant.

With a large number of Asian restaurants in the region, Kingsland City Manager Lee Spell says he expects the company will have plenty of opportunities to grow.
