DANVILLE, Calif. (AP) - At least one gunshot was fired inside a Costco in Northern California during the store’s second robbery this month.

The East Bay Times (https://bayareane.ws/2q2gycH) reports that no one was injured during the Friday robbery at a Costco in Danville but one bystander was treated by medics for shock.

Danville city spokesman Geoff Gillette said that two people in masks and hoods entered the store shortly after noon. One smashed a glass case with a hammer and grabbed merchandise and when an employee tried to intervene, the second robber fired a gun.

Police are searching for the pair who fled in a silver Toyota.

The same store was robbed earlier this month by a masked man with a hammer, who also smashed a display case and fled with merchandise.
