Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly joked that President Trump should use his ceremonial sword from the Coast Guard on the media.
Mr. Kelly’s comments were caught Wednesday on an open mic after the president’s commencement address to the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.
“Use that on the press, sir,” Mr. Kelly was heard saying to the president, according to Military.com.
The ceremonial sword was presented to Mr. Trump after his remarks in honor of his first address to one of the service academies as president.
