NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Police in Rhode Island say a driver is dead after he crashed into a Burger King restaurant.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2pMdsNH ) that Deputy Police Chief Charles Davey says the crash happened in North Providence just after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say investigators believe the man in his 60s suffered a medical issue before he hit two vehicles and the building. Davey says the man appeared to have died as a result of the medical issue, not the crash.

He wasn’t immediately identified.

No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
