ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are searching for the shooter who critically injured a driver for the ride-hailing service Lyft.
The 47-year-old victim was shot about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday. Witnesses heard shots and found the man unconscious in his vehicle with wounds to his back and side.
Witnesses told police that two vehicles pulled away quickly after the shooting.
Lyft, based in San Francisco, says in a statement that safety the top priority and the company is “horrified” by the shooting.
