TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has obtained a court order requiring an alleged stalker to stay away from her.

A judge in Tampa issued the order Wednesday against William Norman Wilkes. Bondi says he came to her house twice, once banging on her door and peeking in a window at 3 a.m. She said he also sent unwanted Facebook messages.

Wilkes agreed in court Wednesday to stay away from Bondi. The Tampa Bay Times (https://bit.ly/2qtewFq ) reports that Wilkes said if Bondi didn’t want to see him, he didn’t want to see her.

Wilkes remains jailed without bail on several charges, including stalking. He was taken to a medical center after the hearing.

Bondi says she recently learned she and Wilkes attended the same Tampa high school, but he was a year behind her.
