Former cable news giant Bill O’Reilly told radio host Glenn Beck on Friday that a “big, big” story is coming regarding his ouster from Fox News.

Fox News Channel and Mr. O’Reilly parted ways after 20 years in April as controversy swirled around legally settled sexual harassment claims. The best-selling author granted his first interview to “The Glenn Beck Program” to discuss his upcoming plans.

“Look, this was a hit,” Mr. O’Reilly said. “And in the weeks to come, we’re going to be able to explain some of it. And it has to do with destroying voices that the far left and the organized left-wing cabal doesn’t like. So that’s the general tone.”

The conservative said he was still navigating a legal minefield, which will delay the story.

“There’s going to be an exposition soon, but I can’t tell you when about what exactly this crew that goes in and terrorizes sponsors, that threatens people behind the scenes, that pays people to say things. We’re going to name them, and it’s going to be a big, big story,” Mr. O’Reilly said. “The story will be downplayed by the left-wing media, but guys like you and talk radio and the Internet will get it. It’s coming. And, unfortunately, I was target number one, and it’s sad.”

The interview also featured Mr. Beck offering Mr. O’Reilly a regular slot on his show.

“We could unite our powers for good as opposed to evil,” Mr. Beck said. “I’ll pay you in sandwiches like you can’t believe.”

Mr. O’Reilly then refused to discuss details of payout from Fox reportedly valued at $25 million.

“It doesn’t matter. You can’t believe it. Why would you take anything that’s printed in the media seriously?” the pundit said.
