White House counselor Kellyanne Conway accused CNN’s Anderson Cooper of sexism Thursday after an appearance on his show earlier in the week.

“Let me tell you something, Hillary Clinton is in search of sexism as an excuse for why her disastrous candidacy and campaign lost six months ago. I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that,” Ms. Conway said on Fox News.

Mr. Cooper rolled his eyes while interviewing Ms. Conway on Thursday. Ms. Conway was responding to a reel of past video clips of President Trump praising former FBI Director James B. Comey, who was recently fired by Mr. Trump. Ms. Conway was explaining that the clips were “conflating two things” but mentioned that she was grateful for “the trip down memory lane,” reminding Mr. Cooper that Mr. Trump won Michigan, which prompted his eye roll.

“Could you imagine having a male anchor on a network roll [his] eyes at Hillary Clinton or a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? I think not,” Ms. Conway said.
