A popular ice cream is being voluntarily recalled from all Trader Joe’s supermarkets after manufacturing company Mikawaya found traces of undeclared peanuts in some of its products.

The recall applies to the Mikawaya Chocolate Chocolate Mochi Ice Cream, with UPC code of 070934990609 and lot number LOT 090-17. The UPC code can be found on the back of the box and the lot number is printed on the top enclosure.

The recall was initiated when one customer notified the company that a container of Chocolate Chocolate Mochi Ice Cream contained peanut butter.

For people with peanut allergies, ingesting or even being close to a product with peanuts can have serious, even life-threatening allergic reactions.

However, the company said in a statement it had not received any reports of illness or allergic reactions associated with the product.

Trader Joe’s has stores in 42 states and the District of Columbia. Customers can return the product to Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
