Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are now reportedly dating.
The New York Daily News reported the four-month-old romance between the pop star and the former Yankees slugger Wednesday night, citing unnamed sources.
That report followed shortly on the heels of blogger and podcaster B. Scott Wednesday breaking the story at her eponymous website Wednesday. Ms. Scott quoted an unnamed source saying the romance budded after Ms. Lopez ended a brief relationship with rapper Drake, whom she “kicked… to the curb” for allegedly cheating on her.
The newfound romance also follows a major career move for Mr. Rodriguez, who was announced Tuesday as a full-time studio analyst for Fox Sports, where he will participate in coverage of the network’s televised Major League Baseball games.
The network had reportedly been pleased with how Mr. Rodriguez stepped up to the plate in playoff coverage.
“Bringing Alex back was a priority of ours and we are fortunate to have him as a key contributor to our baseball coverage,” Fox Sports executive John Entz, said in a statement, USA Today reported. “His potential is off the charts and he’s been an incredibly quick learner in the world of television.”
