ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Authorities in Strafford County are searching for a man who they say robbed a general store.

Rochester police say the suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from a clerk at a Family Dollar around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities say the man then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the man wore a yellow shirt with the word “California” written across it and white gloves.

Investigators say an area search with a canine unit was conducted but the suspect was not found. An investigation is ongoing.
