DENVER (AP) - Hundreds are marching in Denver to mark International Women’s Day.
The red-shirted demonstrators marched silently around the state capitol at midday Wednesday. Anti-Trump activists have urged women to stay home from work and not shop to demonstrate their power on Wednesday. Some activists have also planned demonstrations.
The organizers of the Denver march intend it to be the start of weekly vigils at the state capitol. There were also demonstrations in Colorado Springs and Boulder.
