He has missed the cut in all seven of his 2017 starts. … Brian Stuard had played a career-long 11 consecutive PGA Tour events until taking off last week because he was not in the Mexico Championship. Hend is on the bubble, though he could be helped by as many as four players likely to withdraw from the Match Play. Another player in range is Anirban Lahiri, who tied for second last year in his national open. He won the event in 2015. … Lahiri’s schedule this year has taken him from Hawaii to California to Dubai to Malaysia to Los Angeles to Florida to India. … The tournament was played last year at Delhi Golf Club. … Chawrasia won last year after having been a runner-up four times in the Indian Open.
