HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A 35-year-old East Hartford man is in custody in connection with an attempted armed robbery and assault in Bolton last month.

Police in Hartford say they found Daniel Duffy sleeping on a bench in Union Station early Sunday morning and arrested him without incident. He had been wanted in connection with a Feb. 28 incident in which police say Duffy stabbed a victim multiple times and hit him over the head with a car jack.

Police say Duffy is currently on parole for an armed robbery and kidnapping in 2008. They say he’s also a suspect in several recent incidents in the Hartford area and additional charges are expected.

Duffy is currently at the Hartford Correctional Center. It couldn’t be immediately determined if he has a lawyer.
