DUNDEE, Scotland (AP) - Celtic’s latest Scottish Premiership title was delayed after nearest rival Aberdeen beat Dundee 7-0 on Friday.

Celtic would have clinched a sixth straight premiership if Aberdeen lost.

But Aberdeen had the win in hand before halftime. It scored four times in the first half.

Unbeaten Celtic was still 22 points ahead of Aberdeen, and can claim the title on Sunday with a win against Hearts at Tynecastle.

Celtic has taken its supremacy of Scottish football to a new level this season, winning 27 of its 29 games. The only draws came at Inverness and at home to Rangers.

Celtic’s unbeaten run across three domestic competitions stands at 36 games. The Glasgow team coached by former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers won the Scottish League Cup in late November, and is also through to the Scottish Cup semifinals.
