ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - Fire officials say they have found a man’s body after a fire at a Montgomery County home.
County fire department spokesman Pete Piringer tweeted Friday that the body had been found.
He says firefighters found the Rockville home engulfed in flames when they arrived Thursday night. Media outlets report that the fire at the two-story home ignited brush fires and the structure collapsed.
The man’s identity was not released, pending notification of his family. Piringer says he lived alone in the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
