BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - The Navy’s Blue Angels are in coastal Georgia for performances at a weekend air show.
News outlets report the Blue Angels’ appearances at the Wings Over the Golden Isles air show Saturday and Sunday mark the precision flying team’s first performances in Brunswick in 20 years.
The six F/A 18 jets that will be flying in the air show arrived Thursday after a 4 ½ flight from California.
One of those jets has a pair of Georgians on its crew. Navy Lt. Tyler Davis of Kennesaw flies the plane and Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael McDuffie of Blackshear is its crew chief.
