OPINION:
Good Lord, what’s gotten into Nancy Pelosi’s Twitter feed?
The House minority leader’s in a tizzy over Obamacare. But could she please find more than one way to express her displeasure with Republicans? Please?
Here’s a sampling of her tweeted outrage.
Friday she wrote: “Every single Republican who votes for #TrumpCare will have this moral monstrosity tattooed to their foreheads forever. Every. Single. One.”
The forehead tattoo is pretty visual — but that’s not even the best part. Read on.
Also Friday: “Speaker Ryan & @HouseGOP own the moral monstrosity that #TrumpCare is for working families in America.”
Thursday: “#TrumpCare is a moral monstrosity that will cause premiums to surge. It’s time to pull the plug.”
A tweet dated March 23: “#TrumpCare is a moral monstrosity that will devastate seniors and hurt America’s working families.”
Also, from March 23, another tweet: “It’s a rookie error to bring up their moral monstrosity of #TrumpCare on #ACA7 when they don’t even have the votes.”
And in case you didn’t catch it, again on March 23: “I repeat: #TrumpCare is a moral monstrosity that will damage the economic & health security of millions.”
Billions even. Gazillions.
Oh wait, we’re not quite done yet.
From March 22, Pelosi tweeted: “#TrumpCare is not mercy. It is a moral monstrosity and must not be allowed to pass.”
But it’s not just her Twitter feed. Pelosi’s “moral monstrosity” is out and about other places, too.
DemocraticLeader.gov published Pelosi’s full statement about President Donald Trump’s legislative offset of Obamacare — and guess what reared?
“TrumpCare is a moral monstrosity,” she said. “It’s time to pull the plug.”
Well, hat tip to Pelosi for the Friday fun. And wishing you and your fellow Democrats, particularly the similarly shrill ones, a calm and pleasant weekend, free of any kind of moral monstrosity — though, of course, if you find any, please tweet.
