BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - An 18-year-old suspected of shooting four people in Buffalo, one fatally, while free on bail last summer is being held after pleading not guilty to murder and other charges.

Jaylin Wiggins was arraigned in Erie County Court Friday on charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.

Prosecutors say Wiggins killed one person and wounded three others in two shootings an hour apart last August. Twenty-two-year-old Laron Watkins, of Buffalo, was killed.

Authorities say Wiggins was free on bail at the time while facing charges of robbery and drug and weapons possession.
