Vice President Pence to speak in Arkansas on health care

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to visit Arkansas to discuss proposed federal health care legislation.

The Republican Party of Arkansas says Pence is due in Little Rock on Friday and will speak at 2:30 p.m. at Little Rock Tours and Travel.

Pence’s visit comes as Congress considers a proposal to replace the federal health care law referred to by opponents as “Obamacare.”
