Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican, on Wednesday said there aren’t enough votes as it currently stands to pass the House GOP’s bill to repeal parts of Obamacare.

“Not today there aren’t,” Mr. Jordan said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Unless there’s real change, fundamental change, I do not see how they get to the 216 number that they need to pass it tomorrow.”

Mr. Jordan did say they’re still willing to talk. Mr. Jordan is a former chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, and some of those members have indicated they will not support the legislation.

He pointed out that Freedom Caucus members were out campaigning with President Trump and said they want him to succeed.

“He did a great job in his presentation yesterday, but that doesn’t change what’s in the legislation,” he said.
