SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) - Authorities in Rhode Island say no one was injured when a blaze heavily damaged a Smithfield business.

Deputy Fire Chief James Grenga tells The Providence Journal (https://bit.ly/2mYTElF ) firefighters were called to the scene around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The fire was quickly contained.

Grenga says no one was in the building at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
