You will now be able to use Alexa on your iPhone, thanks to an update to Amazon’s iOS app.

It’s the first time Amazon’s personal assistant has supported non-Alexa hardware, iDownloadblog.com reported Thursday.

Even though it’s tied to the Amazon shopping app, use of Alexa on your iPhone can be fairly comprehensive, to get everything from news and weather update to opening Kindle books and cueing up songs on Amazon Music Unlimited or Prime Music, the tech news website noted.

All told, more than 10,000 skills can be used in the iPhone app, iDownload reported.
