Leah Remini’s documentary series that casts a critical eye on the Church of Scientology will come back for a second season at the A&E network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The second season of “Scientology and the Aftermath” will run 10 episodes and should air in the summer, THR reported.
“The way the organization has responded without taking responsibility for what they do to people, I need to continue,” Ms. Remini told THR.
“Until the day I no longer have this platform, I won’t be silent,” she added.
While Ms. Remini is dead serious about her fight against the L. Ron Hubbard-founded cult, the “King of Queens” alumna is hoping to show her humorous side as the lead in “What About Barb?” — a new NBC sitcom scheduled to premiere this fall.
The sitcom is an update of “What About Bob?”, the 1991 comedy starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss, THR reported Wednesday.
