COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) - The new managing editor is a familiar face in the offices of The Daily Nonpareil newspaper in Council Bluffs.

Courtney Brummer-Clark has returned to the Nonpareil as its top editor, replacing John Schreier. The Nonpareil reports (https://bit.ly/2lWY0MZ ) that he’s accepted a post with another BH Media newspaper.

Brummer-Clark joined the Nonpareil in 2000 after graduating from the University of Iowa. She held positions in advertising and news over the following years, until she joined the Omaha World-Herald in Nebraska as Good News editor in 2015.

The World-Herald also is a property of BH Media, which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
