BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A Moss Point man has been arrested after being accused of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in downtown Biloxi.

Media outlets report 44-year-old Brian Wesley Creel was arrested Friday on a robbery charge.

Biloxi police Lt. Christopher De Back says Creel slipped a note to a teller demanding cash Friday afternoon at the bank. Creel then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a blue Dodge Dakota pickup truck.

De Back says Gautier police saw Creel’s truck around 4:30 p.m. They stopped Creel and detained him until Biloxi police arrived and arrested him.

It’s unclear if Creel has an attorney.
