CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) - CSX says a locomotive engine caught fire at a maintenance shop in Cumberland.

CSX spokesman Rob Doolittle said in an email that the fire broke out Thursday at the shop for CSX locomotives. He says a diesel engine being serviced experienced a mechanical malfunction and fire.

Doolittle says the fire was contained to the locomotive and didn’t damage any other equipment or the building. He says no one was injured.
