President Trump had a one-word response Friday to Britain’s elections in which the ruling Conservative Party lost its majority: “Surprising.”
Mr. Trump gave the assessment in an Oval Office meeting with the president of Romania.
He has already hosted British Prime Minister Theresa May, whose party lost seats, at the White House earlier this year.
