President Trump will appear in HBO’s upcoming Independence Day special with his Hollywood nemesis Meryl Streep, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

“The Words That Built America,” directed by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, will feature former presidents, politicians and celebrities giving an unabridged reading of America’s founding documents.

Mr. Trump, along with former Presidents George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, will read from the Constitution. Ms. Streep and other notables will read from the Declaration of Independence, THR reported.

“When you hear the words of our founding fathers read by such an illustrious group of people, it serves as a potent reminder of the dreams that launched this democracy,” said HBO Documentary Films President Sheila Nevins.

Vice President Mike Pence will also appear in the film, as well as former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Media personalities Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity, Anderson Cooper and Bill O’Reilly, as well as actors Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Neil Patrick Harris, Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, among others, will also participate, THR reported.

The special, airing July 4, will reportedly be donated to the National Constitution Center for educational programming.

In January, Ms. Streep sparked a feud with Mr. Trump prior to his inauguration by using her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes to bash the incoming president, calling him a bully.

Mr. Trump hit back on Twitter, calling Mr. Streep a “Hillary flunky” who is “one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood.”

Ms. Streep doubled down on her criticism of the president during a speech in February, saying, “the whip of the executive can, through a Twitter feed, lash and intimidate, punish and humiliate, delegitimize the press and all of the imagined enemies with spasmodic regularity and easily provoked predictability.”
