NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - New research says millennials are moving to the Hampton Roads region at the steepest rate in the country.
The Virginian-Pilot reported Monday (https://bit.ly/2qQm4iG) that Hampton Roads is the number one urban area for millennial move-ins. The number of millennials grew 16.4 percent - or by 7,000 people - between 2010 and 2015.
The research comes from the Urban Land Institute, which generated the study for Time magazine. The study refers to millennials as being between the ages of 25 and 34.
