Well, well, well, isn’t this a bit embarrassing for the climate change crowd.

The United States, it seems, isn’t the big bad polluter of the world the leftists in the environmental movement would have believed. Nope — not even close.

And what’s even more startling about this discovery — about this settled science discovery, to use the lingo of the Al Gore-bots who like to pretend human induced global warming-slash-cooling-slash-whatever isn’t contested — is that it comes from the United Nations.

Yep. The World Health Organization, an agency of the United Nations tasked with representing the health concerns of the member states, just put out its annual air pollution report. Here’s the shocker: the United States fared pretty well.

Better than Germany, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom and France — the latter, home of the famed Paris accord that President Donald Trump just dismissed as bad for America.

But that’s not all.

“In a recent list of the 25 cleanest cities in the world, the only country to boast three cities among the cleanest on the planet was the United States of America, with Chicago coming in second place,” Breitbart noted.

Also on the list: Honolulu and Portland.

“Similarly, another list of the 15 most polluted cities in the world featured three cities from China, three cities from Saudi Arabia, and a whopping seven cities from India,” the news site went on.

Guess what country wasn’t listed there?

That’s right. Go ahead and say it. The United States.

But the world’s governments who want to entrap America into a costly pitfall of global climate change treaties do what deceivers do best — they skew the statistics to paint this country as the worst polluter in the world. How they do it is they look at carbon dioxide emission levels to show America’s a high polluter — spinning carbon dioxide as a pollutant, all the while.

Let’s remember basic biology class, though. CO2 is what humans emit — what plants need to grow.

More deceptions from the environmentalists. If facts don’t fly, make up some alternative “facts” that do.
