SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A man has been found guilty of eight counts of slapping the backsides of women in the Spokane, Washington, area.
A judge on Wednesday found 28-year-old Jonathan Smith guilty of eight counts of assault with sexual motivation that occurred on the Centennial Trail, a popular walking and bike path.
KHQ-TV reports the judge sentenced Smith to 24 months of probation.
Smith earlier told the television station that he slapped dozens of women on their backsides.
Smith also has to register as a sex offender and was a given a no-contact order with any of the victims he hit on the Centennial Trail.
